<p>We take meaning from all of our experiences; this is what NLP is about. As a sales professional being able to change the meaning your customer has about your product is extremely advantageous. You can do this with NLP. Following are a few of the many NLP techniques and how they relate to sales.</p>
<p><strong>Sales with NLP Rapport</strong></p>
<p>Building responsiveness in your customer is what NLP Rapport is really about in a sales context. Beyond ordinary matching and mirroring is building anticipation loops, covert hypnosis and pacing and leading styles to build responsiveness. The advantage of a good NLP practitioner course is developing processes that are unique for you and you can apply directly to your environment.</p>
<p><strong>Emotions through NLP Training</strong></p>
<p>You can have a choice over how you feel about particularly events. There are many NLP tools that can show you how to do this. Turning negative feelings into positive motivation would make a difference in a sales environment. For instance you could install states of confidence in yourself, the product and the process whilst banishing low self confidence, desperation and fear of rejection.</p>
<p>While having these NLP techniques would be immensely useful for everyone think about how much more useful they instantly become when you realize that you can apply the same techniques to other people whether your sales team or customers. Underneath a person’s behavior is the answer to why they might buy one product and yet reject another. By understanding how this filter operates we can use it to capture and lead the imagination to where you want it to go. For example, you might lead your prospect away from the expense of your product and towards the massive return of investment. Future pacing is a simple technique where you can get your prospect to imagine themselves with all the benefits that your product or service brings.</p>

<p>Finding clients consistently is the key to running a successful business of any kind. The number of clients you need, how much they pay, and your operating costs will vary depending on the kind of business that you have, but every business must have customers to stay operational. Thankfully there are things you can do to make it more likely that you will have a steady stream of clients by having a conscious business mindframe.<br />
<strong><br />
Get Known for Knowing Your Niche</strong></p>
<p>When you are deep into a specific niche, no matter what you do in that niche, you will gain recognition. People love an expert and so the time you spend becoming an expert in your chosen field will pay off many times over when you are getting more clients than the next guy just because you know more about it. Have the courage to let go of your fear and start becoming an expert in your niche. Write articles, create videos, and make it a goal to start-up a blog.</p>
<p><strong>Choose Something, and Do It Well</strong></p>
<p>One of the most common mistakes that people make is to try to get before you give. This is frustrating for you as the business owner since you think you are doing everything right and are still getting no clients. In this economy start to give more and you will start to receive more. Take on the social responsibility of being and doing more. One of my mentors, Eric Lofholm once said, &#8220;<strong>There is always 1 thing that sells in any economy, and thats VALUE.</strong>&#8221; Stop procrastination in its tracks and start giving more value to the people. The will love you for that.</p>
<p>Another business building tip is to choose no more than three related things and become very good at doing them. Generally clients are more interested in an expert that does one thing amazingly than someone who does many things in a mediocre manner.</p>
<p><strong>Be Persistent, the Clients Will Appear</strong></p>
<p>It is easy to get frustrated when you have trouble finding clients, especially in the first year of business. But if you are an expert in what you do you will find those clients if you are persistent in your marketing and networking. Take advantage of every opportunity to meet people and inform them of what you do. You will turn up contacts in unexpected places.</p>
<p style="text-align: right;"><strong><em>&#8220;Between you and every goal that you wish to achieve, there is a series of obstacles, and the bigger the goal, the bigger the obstacles. Your decision to be, have and do something out of the ordinary entails facing difficulties and challenges that are out of the ordinary as well. <p><strong>Talk About What You’ve Done, Not How You Did It</strong></p>
<p>A common mistake that many business owners make is talking too much about the methods they use to get things done. While it is important for your clients to know how you plan on solving their problems, new prospects are more interested in what you’ve done for other clients. Share the <strong>DIRECT BENEFITS</strong>. When marketing and networking, use tangible evidence and figures that you have achieved with past clients. This will make more of a lasting impression than your methods.</p>
<p>By following these tips, you will be a lot closer to maintaining a steady stream of clients who are ready to give you their money and recommend their colleagues to you. Running a successful business takes a lot of work, but with some solid ideas of how to bring clients in, you will be miles ahead of your competition.</p>

<p>It is an unfortunate fact that most people live in a world where they are constantly being bullied, pushed, belittled, and their sense of individuality is consistently being questioned. Are you one of these unfortunate people? If you are, you need to know that it is within your power to change all that, and start living a life that empowers and supports you.</p>
<p>The first thing you need to work on is what is going on inside your mind. The reason for this is that your life and self-esteem is just a reflection of what your viewpoints are. As humans, we have a tendency to cling to the perceptions that we have held for a long time, even if they limit us and our potential. If you really take a look at those perceptions though, you can make a conscious decision to distance yourself from them if they drag you down.</p>
<p>The level at which you value or &#8220;esteem&#8221; yourself is what really determines the level of success you are capable of reaching in life. If you have very low self-esteem, you are going to have a hard time achieving any sort of success in your lifetime. On the other hand, if you have healthy self-esteem you are much more likely to allow yourself big dreams, accept who you are, and to get what you want in life.</p>
<p>While you don&#8217;t want to get overly upset about breaking a commitment, one good way to build your self-esteem is by honoring commitments you make. When you make commitments to yourself to do things or improve yourself in some way, you need to make sure and follow through with them. If you don&#8217;t, you are sabotaging yourself. If you notice this happening repeatedly, you need to ask why you are doing this to yourself.</p>
<p>If you feel that you have low self-esteem and that you are hindering yourself, then there are some questions that you can ask yourself. <strong>These questions have been known to completely change your mindset about yourself in a positive direction.</strong> This is a form of NLP that will get your mind working in a positive direction and will help you start making changes.</p>
<p>1. Ask yourself what you feel is limiting you in an area of your life where you have low self-esteem.</p>
<p>2. Take a look at what you think is limiting you, and how you know that it really is a limitation.</p>
<p>3. Figure out when you decided that the limitation existed, and determine what you were like before this decision.</p>
<p>4. Become the person you were before you made that decision and ask yourself what you would decide now, as that person. Retain those positive decisions you just got and fit them on for size.</p>
<p>5. Finally, ask yourself what makes you so different now than you were back then with those old beliefs.</p>
<p>The answer that you will probably come to is that there is really no reason for you to have placed that limitation on yourself. Now you just need to figure out how you are going to integrate this new view into your life.  You should start seeing improvement in your self-esteem very quickly.</p>

<p>Everyone should work on having more personal freedom in their lives. When I talk about personal freedom I mean the ability to create and surround yourself with the emotions and influences that you choose. You can greatly improve your life this way.</p>
<p><a href="http://melkotlyarcoaching.com/neuro.html">NLP, or Neuro-Linguistic-Programming</a>, is a method you can use to give yourself this ability. This will allow you to start analyzing how your emotions and thoughts affect you at any given time. You can only bring about change in yourself if you understand why you act the way you do right now.</p>
<p>Generally you think in terms that are encompassed by your senses. You experience things in your mind by picturing, hearing, smelling, feeling, and even tasting them. While you aren’t actually doing any of these things, you can make them seem very real, and this can be used to your advantage. By taking unappealing sensations that are making you unhappy, and replacing them with happy sensations, you can change your whole outlook on life.</p>
<p>As you use methods such as NLP, they will feel more and more natural to you. You will have to put less effort into maintaining a positive state of mind. But when you are first starting to use it, having a few steps you can go through to improve your state of mind can help you see results faster.</p>
<p><strong>Here is my &#8216;Feeling Better&#8217; Step-By-Step Method:</strong></p>
<p>1. Find a favorite memory of when you felt really, really good. This is your “base.” If you get off track, return to this base as needed.</p>
<p>2. Go through that memory, doing your best to remember every detail vividly. Recreate the feeling by imagining how things looked, the smells, and what you were hearing right then. Also, try to resume the position you were in when this good memory was created.</p>
<p>3. Feel the good emotions again, and really focus on making those feelings stronger until they fill your entire being. Try to notice if there is anywhere you start feeling those good sensations first, such as in your chest, spine, or head. This can help you recreate the feelings again in the future.</p>
<p>4. Now focus your thoughts on the future and project all the good feelings you have into an image of feeling good at a point in the future.</p>

<p><em><strong>Have you ever felt that you were getting eat&#8217;n by your emotions and had no control of your actions? Do you think it would be more effective, in your life, to be able to dictate how you felt so you could proact in the most results-orientated why? Then this post is for you&#8230;</strong></em></p>
<p>It is important to be a proactive, as opposed to reactive, person isn&#8217;t it? Being a reactive person may not seem like a big deal, but reactive people have a tendency to become overly emotional and experience uncontrollable anxiety or other problems.</p>
<p><strong>When you react to something, you act upon how your mind interprets what is going on in your environment. This can be bad because your perceived reality may be different from what other people see going on. Miscommunications and other inter-personal issues can rise from this.</strong></p>
<p>By being proactive, you are being the opposite of reactive. Instead of having an immediate reaction to the situation based on what you think is going on, as a proactive person you can respond better by having a firm grip on your mental state and taking responsibility for it.</p>
<p><strong>One of the first things you need to do in order to become a more proactive person is to learn to take a step back and expand your awareness of what is really going on.</strong></p>
<p>Pay close attention to what is going on in your mind at any given time. When you are experiencing something, what words are you putting to it, what images are being attached to it? Try to look into this often, and in different kinds of situations. Soon you will begin to gain an idea of how your mind works, and how the subtleties of your mind are affecting your behavior and how you feel.</p>
<p>The point is that if you are aware of what your mind is doing, and what is causing you to react negatively in certain situations, you will gain more control over it. You will then be able to start reacting in ways that you want to react in.</p>
<p>Something that we should all keep in mind is that our every behavior has a purpose behind it. Whether we are fully aware of it or not, the way we react to things is caused by our unconscious, which has a reason for doing things. Unfortunately, our unconscious doesn&#8217;t always choose the best reason for things, or the best way to convey messages.</p>
<p>But by growing more conscious of what our minds are doing, we can recognize illogical trains of thought that hinder us. We can also begin shaping our reactions into what we want them to be. Doing this will make you a much more balanced and proactive individual. This will then allow you to move forward in life and get what you really want.</p>

<p><em><strong>I just got an email from a friend which I had to share with my readers. It included 9 major things that are changing which will have a huge impact on all of our lives. Not only will the following 9 things change how we communicate and how we do business, but will also change our entire lives. I wanted to share them with you and get your opinion on what you think the outcome will be because of these monumental changes. What does the future hold?</strong></em></p>
<p><em>Check ‘em out&#8230;</em></p>
<p><strong>1. The Post Office.</strong> Get ready to imagine a world without the post office. They are so deeply in financial trouble that there is probably no way to sustain it long term. Email, Fed Ex, and UPS have just about wiped out the minimum revenue needed to keep the post office alive. Most of your mail every day is junk mail and bills.</p>

<p><strong>2. The Check.</strong> Britain is already laying the groundwork to do away with checks by 2018. It costs the financial system billions of dollars a year to process checks. Plastic cards and online transactions will lead to the eventual demise of the check. This plays right into the death of the post office. If you never paid your bills by mail and never received them by mail, the post office would absolutely go out of business.</p>
<p><strong>3. The Newspaper.</strong> The younger generation simply doesn&#8217;t read the newspaper. They certainly don&#8217;t subscribe to a daily delivered print edition. That may go the way of the milkman and the laundry man. As for reading the paper online, get ready to pay for it. The rise in mobile Internet devices and e-readers has caused all the newspaper and magazine publishers to form an alliance. They have met with Apple, Amazon, and the major cell phone companies to develop a model for paid subscription services.</p>
<p><strong>4. The Book.</strong> You say you will never give up the physical book that you hold in your hand and turn the literal pages. I said the same thing about downloading music from iTunes. I wanted my hard copy CD. But I quickly changed my mind when I discovered that I could get albums for half the price without ever leaving home to get the latest music. The same thing will happen with books. You can browse a bookstore online and even read a preview chapter before you buy. And the price is less than half that of a real book. And think of the convenience! Once you start flicking your fingers on the screen instead of the book, you find that you are lost in the story, can&#8217;t wait to see what happens next, and you forget that you&#8217;re holding a gadget instead of a book.</p>

<p><strong>5. The Land Line Telephone.</strong> Unless you have a large family and make a lot of local calls, you don&#8217;t need it anymore. Most people keep it simply because they&#8217;ve always had it. But you are paying double charges for that extra service. All the cell phone companies will let you call customers using the same cell provider for no charge against your minutes.</p>
<p><strong>6. Music.</strong> This is one of the saddest parts of the change story. The music industry is dying a slow death. Not just because of illegal downloading. It&#8217;s the lack of innovative new music being given a chance to get to the people who would like to hear it. Greed and corruption is the problem. The record labels and the radio conglomerates are simply self-destructing. Over 40% of the music purchased today is &#8220;catalog items,&#8221; meaning traditional music that the public is familiar with. Older established artists. This is also true on the live concert circuit. <p><strong>7. The &#8220;Things&#8221; That You Own.</strong> Many of the very possessions that we used to own are still in our lives, but we may not actually own them in the future. They may simply reside in &#8220;the cloud.&#8221; Today your computer has a hard drive and you store your pictures, music, movies, and documents. Your software is on a CD or DVD, and you can always re-install it if need be. But all of that is changing. Apple, Microsoft, and Google are all finishing up their latest &#8220;cloud services.&#8221; That means that when you turn on a computer, the Internet will be built into the operating system. So, Windows, Google, and the Mac OS will be tied straight into the Internet. If you click an icon, it will open something in the Internet cloud. If you save something, it will be saved to the cloud. And you may pay a monthly subscription fee to the cloud provider.</p>
<p>In this virtual world, you can access your music or your books, or your whatever from any laptop or handheld device. That&#8217;s the good news. But, will you actually own any of this &#8220;stuff&#8221; or will it all be able to disappear at any moment in a big &#8220;Poof?&#8221; Will most of the things in our lives be disposable and whimsical? It makes you want to run to the closet and pull out that photo album, grab a book from the shelf, or open up a CD case and pull out the insert.</p>

<p><strong>8. Television.</strong> Revenues to the networks are down dramatically. Not just because of the economy. People are watching TV and movies streamed from their computers. And they&#8217;re playing games and doing lots of other things that take up the time that used to be spent watching TV. Prime time shows have degenerated down to lower than the lowest common denominator. Cable rates are skyrocketing and commercials run about every 4 minutes and 30 seconds. I say good riddance to most of it. It&#8217;s time for the cable companies to be put out of our misery. Let the people choose what they want to watch online and through Netflix.</p>
<p><strong>9. Privacy.</strong> If there ever was a concept that we can look back on nostalgically, it would be privacy. That&#8217;s gone. It&#8217;s been gone for a long time anyway. There are cameras on the street, in most of the buildings, and even built into your computer and cell phone. But you can be sure that 24/7, &#8220;They&#8221; know who you are and where you are, right down to the GPS coordinates, and the Google Street View. If you buy something, your habit is put into a zillion profiles, and your ads will change to reflect those habits. And &#8220;They&#8221; will try to get you to buy something else. Again and again.</p>

<p>Our mindsets and thought processes determine how we perceive our world and our experiences. It is widely known and accepted that our reality is really what we make of it. Our thoughts are what cause us to act and react, along with determining what we believe our capabilities are.</p>
<p>Some people believe that the way we think is what gives us our lives as we know it. Others believe that the world around us is what shapes our existence. The truth lies somewhere in between.</p>
<p><strong>It is true that how we think brings about most of what we have and who we are.</strong> Our manner of thinking is what starts chains of events that lead us to where we are in our lives. But the other side of this is that our thoughts are not the only influencing factor on our existence. There is also a lot of unconscious activity that is going on all the time in reaction to our surrounding that affects the way we feel.</p>
<p>It has been proven that our being is much more far-reaching than we previously thought. Our unconscious mind controls and processes more bits of information than we can count, and when we think about it, we realize that the energy that runs through us and makes up our being is the same at what makes up the rest of the universe. We really are a part of our surroundings, and we can use that bigger picture to become a happier and better person.</p>
<p>There are things you can do to remove negative feelings from your mind when you experience them, and you should grow experienced at doing them successfully. This will allow you to remove negativity from your life whenever you need to.</p>
<p>The first thing you should do is to take a step back and look at what you are thinking when you start to feel negative. Notice any labels you are putting on yourself. Be open and honest, and ask yourself whether these labels are accurate, and if they encompass everything about you. See what they are leaving out, or how much more than those labels you really are.</p>
<p>Taking a few minutes to relax and allowing your consciousness to grow and roam is a good idea here. You can seek out the universe that you are a part of. This will allow you to look for better answers and enlightenment that will give you a more positive view of yourself. This will also help you to be happier. You will find it easier to make it through your day, and each time you do this exercise it will become faster and more automatic until you are almost always bettering your view of yourself.</p>
<p><strong>Consistently give yourself new heights and states to achieve. Anyone can do this, and by striving to see yourself in a better light every day, you will always be on your way to becoming a better person.</strong></p>

<p>One very important value that an entrepreneur must take note of is maintaining ones state of  motivation so they can consistently move towards achieving ones goals. Motivation is indeed very important because it drives ones action, gives purpose and value to what we do in life.</p>
<p>Most of people require a goal or a target which can keep them motivated and excited, however when people do not pursue the things which truly matter to them, they tend to become very de-motivated because their personal goals and their actual activities are not in tandem with each other.</p>
<p>Here is the first secret of staying motivated: <strong>when you are able to find a correlation between your present activity and your own long term goal, this will keep you in a motivated state</strong>.</p>
<p>Whenever a person visualizes a specific result or goal being achieved and truly feels the emotions he would be going through at that moment, that person is actually passing positive energy to the thought at that very moment. It&#8217;s a fact that those who energize their present actions and thoughts with the positive feelings of realizing their dreams in the near future tend to become much more productive in achieving ones goals.</p>
<p>We all go through mood swings which affect our level of motivation, however if we truly wish to keep ourselves motivated we need to be in constant touch with the positive energy which is generated by visualizing the fulfillment of our dreams. While this process may sound very easy, there is a set of steps which needs to be followed in order to keep you motivated.</p>
<p>The steps are as follows:</p>

<li>Firstly one needs to figure out the area in which one would like to be focused or motivated with. This area could be related to one’s health or business any other subject.</li>
<li>The second step is to imagine what it would feel like to achieve the goal that you wish to achieve. Let’s say the goal of the person is buying a car. In this scenario one should imagine the look of the showroom, he should imagine the color of the car he would like to buy and should also think of the feeling which would generate when he would open the door of the car for the first time and also the color of the ribbon with which the car would be tied when it is delivered.</li>
<li>The third step is to actually relate to the feeling of achieving success. This would mean that you think about your heart rate and the excitment that you would experience when you get to drive the brand new car out of the showroom.</li>
<li>Once these feelings are generated one should immediately focus on the step which is to be taken in the immediate future.</li>
<li>This way you would be able to get into the habit of thinking and feeling things as if they have already been achieved and you would be able to use this positive energy to keep yourself motivated.</li>
</ul>
<p>While many people consider their goal or long term target to be their destiny, it is important for people to understand that life is surely a beautiful journey which can be enjoyed in this very moment if we can visualize the fulfillment of our dreams.</p>
